Introduction

Ready to test your reflexes, sharpen your strategy, and have a blast with your friends? Welcome to Blitz—a card game that’s all about speed, skill, and staying one step ahead of your opponents. Whether you’re a seasoned card shark or a beginner, Blitz is the perfect mix of simplicity and excitement. 

Objective 

Be the first player to get rid of all your cards! Sounds simple, right? But there’s a twist: you’re racing against your opponents to do it, and the fastest player wins!

Setup:

1. Deal 10 cards to each player—this is your Blitz Pile.
2. Each player then lays down 3 cards face-up in front of them, known as their Post Piles.
3. The rest of your cards are kept in your hand as your Stock Pile, which you’ll draw from during the game.
4. Place a draw pile of the remaining cards in the center—this is the Community Pile.

The Blitz Pile is Your Biggest Obstacle:

• Your goal is to get rid of the cards in your Blitz Pile first.
• The top card of your Blitz Pile is always face up and in play.

How to Play:

1. On the count of 3, start flipping cards from your Stock Pile into the center, creating stacks of cards in ascending order (1 through 10).
2. Everyone plays simultaneously—no turns here! As soon as you see a card that can go on a stack in the center, throw it down!
3. You can also play cards from your Post Piles and Blitz Pile if they fit on the center stacks.
4. The real goal? Use those center stacks to clear out your Blitz Pile as quickly as possible!

Keep the Game Moving:

• Stock Pile running low? No worries—simply reshuffle and keep going.
• Don’t get too comfortable! The first person to clear their Blitz Pile yells “Blitz!” and ends the round.

Scoring:

• If you Blitz first, score 10 points for finishing your pile.
• Everyone counts the cards left in their Blitz Pile and loses 2 points for each card.
• Each card you successfully played to the center piles during the round earns you 1 point.

Game-Winning Strategy:

• Speed is everything, but don’t just rely on quick hands—keep an eye on your opponents and anticipate the next card!
• Focus on managing your Blitz Pile, but make sure to use your Post Piles wisely to keep the game moving in your favor.

Game Over:

The game continues until someone reaches a predetermined score—usually 75 or 100 points. Whoever has the most points at the end is crowned the Blitz champion!
